David Frum: Just Another RINO Destined for HELL!

Y’all know by now just how much I loathe FALSE Americans like Liberals and DEMONcrats.

But I got to at least feel a little pity for them poor simpletons; they’re DEMONcrats just cause they’re too dumb or deluded (or led astray by SATAN) to realize that they’re damning their souls to HELL for all eternity! *

But what I seen today just TURNS MY STOMACH! It’s an example of the WORST type of FALSE AMERICAN: a RINO!

You’re sure enough welcome to read about this modern day JUDAS if’n you think you can keep your lunch down {Here}:

Conservatives and Republicans today suffered their most crushing legislative defeat since the 1960s.

It’s hard to exaggerate the magnitude of the disaster. Conservatives may cheer themselves that they’ll compensate for today’s expected vote with a big win in the November 2010 elections. But:

(1) It’s a good bet that conservatives are over-optimistic about November – by then the economy will have improved and the immediate goodies in the healthcare bill will be reaching key voting blocs.

(2) So what? Legislative majorities come and go. This healthcare bill is forever. A win in November is very poor compensation for this debacle now.

So far, I think a lot of conservatives will agree with me. Now comes the hard lesson:

A huge part of the blame for today’s disaster attaches to conservatives and Republicans ourselves.

At the beginning of this process we made a strategic decision: unlike, say, Democrats in 2001 when President Bush proposed his first tax cut, we would make no deal with the administration. No negotiations, no compromise, nothing. We were going for all the marbles. This would be Obama’s Waterloo – just as healthcare was Clinton’s in 1994.

Only, the hardliners overlooked a few key facts: Obama was elected with 53% of the vote, not Clinton’s 42%. The liberal block within the Democratic congressional caucus is bigger and stronger than it was in 1993-94. And of course the Democrats also remember their history, and also remember the consequences of their 1994 failure.

This time, when we went for all the marbles, we ended with none.

Could a deal have been reached? Who knows? But we do know that the gap between this plan and traditional Republican ideas is not very big. The Obama plan has a broad family resemblance to Mitt Romney’s Massachusetts plan. It builds on ideas developed at the Heritage Foundation in the early 1990s that formed the basis for Republican counter-proposals to Clintoncare in 1993-1994.

Barack Obama badly wanted Republican votes for his plan. Could we have leveraged his desire to align the plan more closely with conservative views? To finance it without redistributive taxes on productive enterprise – without weighing so heavily on small business – without expanding Medicaid? Too late now. They are all the law.

No illusions please: This bill will not be repealed. Even if Republicans scored a 1994 style landslide in November, how many votes could we muster to re-open the “doughnut hole” and charge seniors more for prescription drugs? How many votes to re-allow insurers to rescind policies when they discover a pre-existing condition? How many votes to banish 25 year olds from their parents’ insurance coverage? And even if the votes were there – would President Obama sign such a repeal?

We followed the most radical voices in the party and the movement, and they led us to abject and irreversible defeat.

There were leaders who knew better, who would have liked to deal. But they were trapped. Conservative talkers on Fox and talk radio had whipped the Republican voting base into such a frenzy that deal-making was rendered impossible. How do you negotiate with somebody who wants to murder your grandmother? Or – more exactly – with somebody whom your voters have been persuaded to believe wants to murder their grandmother?

I’ve been on a soapbox for months now about the harm that our overheated talk is doing to us. Yes it mobilizes supporters – but by mobilizing them with hysterical accusations and pseudo-information, overheated talk has made it impossible for representatives to represent and elected leaders to lead. The real leaders are on TV and radio, and they have very different imperatives from people in government. Talk radio thrives on confrontation and recrimination. When Rush Limbaugh said that he wanted President Obama to fail, he was intelligently explaining his own interests. What he omitted to say – but what is equally true – is that he also wants Republicans to fail. If Republicans succeed – if they govern successfully in office and negotiate attractive compromises out of office – Rush’s listeners get less angry. And if they are less angry, they listen to the radio less, and hear fewer ads for Sleepnumber beds.

So today’s defeat for free-market economics and Republican values is a huge win for the conservative entertainment industry. Their listeners and viewers will now be even more enraged, even more frustrated, even more disappointed in everybody except the responsibility-free talkers on television and radio. For them, it’s mission accomplished. For the cause they purport to represent, it’s Waterloo all right: ours.

WHY IS THIS MAN ALLOWED TO SPEW SUCH FILTH?!

Okay, now I’ll admit right here I don’t know the TEXTBOOK definition of what “socialism” means, but I bet you that REAL Americans like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coulter DO!

And if’n they tell me that ol’ “President” Barack HUSSEIN Obama is a Marxist / Leninist / Stanlinist / Trotskyite / Manchurian Candidate / Atheist-loving Kenyan Moslem who attends a radical negro church, well then I believe THEM!

I don’t need to “learn” nothing on my own when I got such esteemed patriots to do my thinking for me!

So that there tells me everything I need to know about Mr. David “I Hate America” Frum!

Though one might get to wondering why them great patriots, if’n they feel so strongly about it, ain’t pony up their own money and hire some lawyers to challenge the Constitutionality of said healthcare reform bill.

One MIGHT get to wondering that if’n they was some sort of dadblame stupid LibTARD!

But seriously, this here passage of healthcare reform ain’t the death of America as we know it.

That happened on November 4, 2008!


Today only marks the day that Barack HUSSEIN Obama and his TROSTKYITE DEMONcrat Party done get to have their way with the corpse of Lady Liberty!

Liberal Pansies Bawl Over Harmless Barbs

Well, color me surprised; looks like some pantywaist LibTURDS have gone and got their feelings hurt {Here}:

Members of the Congressional Black Caucus said that racial epithets were hurled at them Saturday by angry protesters who had gathered at the Capitol to protest health-care legislation, and one congressman said he was spit upon. The most high-profile openly gay congressman, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), was heckled with anti-gay chants.

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) issued a statement late Saturday saying that he was spit upon while walking to the Capitol to cast a vote, leading the Capitol Police to usher him into the building out of concern for his safety. Police detained the individual, who was then released because Cleaver declined to press charges.

"The congressman was walking into the Capitol to vote, when one protester spat on him. The congressman would like to thank the U.S. Capitol Police officer who quickly escorted the other Members and him into the Capitol, and defused the tense situation with professionalism and care," said Danny Rotert, a spokesman for Cleaver.

Protesters outside the Capitol hurled epithets at Reps. John Lewis (D-Ga.) and Andre Carson (D-Ind.) as they left the building after President Obama delivered an 11th-hour speech on behalf of the health care bill. Carson told reporters that protesters yelled "kill the bill," then used a racial epithet to describe Carson and Lewis, who is a revered figure on both sides of the aisle.

According to observers, Frank was confronted by about 100 protesters inside the Longworth House Office Building, where Democrats were huddling for another meeting about the legislation. Some targeted Frank with anti-gay epithets and urged him to vote against the bill.

Democratic leaders and their aides said they were outraged by the day's behavior. "I have heard things today that I have not heard since March 15, 1960, when I was marching to get off the back of the bus," said House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.), the highest-ranking black official in Congress.

And Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.) said in a statement, "On the one hand, I am saddened that America's debate on health care -- which could have been a national conversation of substance and respect -- has degenerated to the point of such anger and incivility. But on the other, I know that every step toward a more just America has aroused similar hate in its own time; and I know that John Lewis, a hero of the civil rights movement, has learned to wear the worst slurs as a badge of honor."

"This is not the first time the congressman has been called the "n" word and certainly not the worst assault he has endured in his years fighting for equal rights for all Americans," said Rotert, Cleaver's spokesman. "That being said, he is disappointed that in the 21st century our national discourse has devolved to the point of name-calling and spitting."

The incidents followed a noontime protest on the west side of the Capitol that drew several thousand people from around the country for a "Code Red" rally against the health-care bill. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) addressed the crowd.

As that rally ended, some protesters moved around to the south side of the Capitol, near the entrance to the House chamber, and across the east front of the complex.

On the first day of spring, most lawmakers walked across the street from their office buildings to the Capitol, rather than using the underground tunnels. That brought them into contact with protesters forming a gauntlet on each side of the walkway leading into the House. At one point, when Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.) wanted to walk across the street to an office building, he was ushered into a car by his security detail and driven a couple hundred feet through the screaming crowd.

Saturday evening, more than a handful of House Republicans held an impromptu rally on the Capitol steps. Using a megaphone, the lawmakers urged on the crowd. Shortly after 6 p.m., Rep. Ted Poe (R-Tex.) dared House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to come out onto the House steps and address the more than 1,000 people who were gathered at the foot of the Capitol, prompting a loud and angry chant of "Nancy, Nancy, Nancy."

The protesters believe that the Obama administration and Congress are ignoring the public's opposition to the $940 billion legislation, which they consider it to be a government takeover of the health-care system. They carried signs saying "Remember in November"; one carried a broomstick with cardboard pasted onto it with the label "Here's Your Ride," for Pelosi.

What’s all the fuss about? It’s obvious that the protestors was using them epithets IRONICALLY!

Why, that ain’t no worse than a little frat house funning, like Rush points out {Here}! It was just good joshing, and ain’t nobody got hurt!

According to USA today:

WASHINGTON — Americans by 9 percentage points have a favorable view of the health care overhaul that President Obama signed into law Tuesday, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds, a notable turnaround from surveys before the vote that showed a plurality against it.

By 49%-40% those surveyed say it was "a good thing" rather than a bad one that Congress passed the bill. Half describe their reaction in positive terms, as "enthusiastic" or "pleased," while about four in 10 describe it in negative ways, as "disappointed" or "angry."

The largest single group, 48%, calls the bill "a good first step" that should be followed by more action on health care. An additional 4% also have a favorable view, saying the bill makes the most important changes needed in the nation's health care system.

You see, 40 percent don't like it and 49 percent like it...and 40 is GREATER than 49....uh...

Insurers will have to pay a 40 percent excise tax on high-value group plans – those in which premiums for families are $27,500 or more, for instance – starting in 2014. Experts say the tax will likely be passed on to employees through higher premiums or lower benefits and wages.

Starting in 2013, flexible spending accounts, which allow users to escape taxes on many medical expenses now, will be limited. There will be a $2,500 maximum on accounts that typically carry $4,000 or $5,000 limits now, and you will no longer be able to use the accounts for over-the-counter medicines.

High-income earners — families making more than $250,000 – would pay several thousand dollars more in Medicare payroll taxes starting in 2018. Their unearned income, now exempt from the payroll tax, would also be subject to a 3.8 percent levy.

And to think that this bill just scraped by the Senate 60-40 when the threshold is, well, should be 80 votes:



And, the Republicans would never use reconciliation for a large bill but only for God's Own Bill:

The 2003 tax cuts were also passed by reconciliation. These were more controversial, because at this point the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan had started, and later the same year Congress passed a Medicare prescription drug benefit. The vote in the Senate was 51-50, with vice president Dick Cheney breaking the tie. (The vice president is technically the president of the Senate and can break ties.) In this vote, only two Democrats joined the Republicans.

The 2003 tax cuts included a number of measures, but the most significant reductions were taxes on dividends and capital gains taxes. Typically, these taxes are on investment income, and those cuts tend to give a bigger break to taxpayers with higher incomes.

But never fear: we have God and God's Warriors on our side!

I don't know how much more poor old Harriet can take. We keep hearing about people not having jobs or people not being able to get health insurance because they are too poor. For example, here is President Barack HUSSEIN Obama telling some (well deserved) rich Congressman that he ought to sympathize with those who don't make enough money to use health savings accounts:

What about those who are suffering the most?

In any recession, the poor suffer the most pain. But in cultural influence, it may well be the rich who lose the most in the current crisis. This downturn is bringing a larger-than-usual decline in consumption by the wealthy.

The shift has been documented by Jonathan A. Parker and Annette Vissing-Jorgenson, finance professors at Northwestern University, in their recent paper, “Who Bears Aggregate Fluctuations and How? Estimates and Implications for Consumption Inequality.” Of course, people who held much wealth in real estate or stocks have taken heavy losses. But most important, the paper says, the labor incomes of high earners have declined more than in past recessions, as seen in the financial sector.

Prices for primary residences, which plunged at least 20% from the peak in 2007, appear to have bottomed. In some of the snappiest locations, scattered bidding wars are breaking out and prices are turning upward.

In them days you’d NEVER, EVER see a gal out and about in BRITCHES! Why, that’s like an open invitation to be U.S.E.d!

But time was, you could also rely on certain behaviors from each sex. You wouldn’t never see no overlap like you been seeing lately – and which I done discussed before {Here}.

Nowadays, you got women who dare to get theyselves an EDUCATION, who STUDY the news, and who – God help us – participate in democracy! So now they get all sorts of ideas in their damn fool heads like they somehow are the EQUALS of men!

Now don’t y’all forget that all behavior is INNATE and UNCHANGEABLE! To suggest otherwise is to question God’s omnipotence, like you believe He leaves some room for folks to ACQUIRE behavior as some sort of reaction to the environment, which we all know is just silly!

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police are on the lookout for a Florida woman who is accused of making harassing phone calls to a 14-year-old boy in Oklahoma.

Police said Annamay Alexander, 44, had enticed the minor into some type of sexual activity and traveled from Deltona, Florida to Oklahoma City on one or more occasions to meet with the victim.

"We believe that she is possibly headed here yet again, and we obviously want to find her before she has the chance to make it to this young boy again," said Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.

Court records revealed the boy's mother found suggestive text messages from Alexander on her son's cell phone. She also found a picture of Alexander in her underwear on her son's Playstation console. There are also numerous notes and letters in which Alexander refers to herself as the 14-year-old boy's "wife."

A warrant for stalking has been issued for Alexander's arrest in Oklahoma County.

Annamay Alexander is believed to be driving a white 2003 Dodge Intrepid with Florida tag J254HN.

Anyone who sees Alexander or her vehicle should call 911 immediately.

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A teacher’s aide in Osceola County has been charged with having sex with a minor.
Dellys Serrano, 36, was arrested Tuesday and charged with Unlawful Sexual Activity with Certain Minors.
The investigation began February 22 when Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives received information from the Kissimmee Police Department in reference to sexual activity between a student and teacher's aide at New Beginnings School on W. Vine Street in Kissimmee.

Deputies say the sexual activity occurred later in December off school property, in the student's home.
According to the arrest affidavit, Serrano bought the student snacks, cigarettes and even an air gun from Walmart, "The victim told detectives at one point he did try to break off the relationship and she refused, continually sending him text messages."

Detectives say the texting wouldn't stop..they say she even asked him for so called Birthday Sex, "Text messages about getting together, wanting to stay together, things about their relationship." According to an Osceola County School district spokesperson, Serrano will be suspended without pay, during the investigation. Cops arrested her today after getting tipped off last month, "The victim told a friend who notified his parents who notified school officers."

Deputies don't believe there are other victims they say this is an isolated case. Prior to working at New Beginnings, Seranno worked at Celebration High School as a science teacher. Her contract was not renewed.

Use to be, we wouldn’t NEVER hear of WOMEN behaving this way! These here are the sorts of things you EXPECT of men, but NEVER women!

It just don’t seem natural that women AND men act the same in ANY way at all!

Fortunately, us REAL Americans do got some hope on the horizon in the form of SAME-SEX CLASSROOMS {Here}:

In Kaplan, LA, the local middle school thinks girls learn better by sitting down and shutting up.

Days before the start of the 2009 school year, parents at Rene A. Rost Middle School suddenly learned that their sons and daughters would not be sharing core curriculum classes together. The principal's rationale? He wrote that boys are "more likely to enjoy argument and lively classroom debate" while "females may be content to simply observe," requiring a different teaching approach based on gender. This is nothing more than harmful, unsound gender stereotyping about girls' and boys' innate temperaments.

Essentially, boys will learn to be active, dynamic participants in conversation, to be leaders and movers and shakers, while pushing girls to sit quietly and listen to what people tell them, setting them up for a nice obedient life of doing whatever their husband says and never speaking up. The classroom reading material reinforces this dynamic: Leonora M. Lapidus, ACLU Women's Rights Project Director, tells us that the girls' book focuses on a love triangle, with "the message that girls who are independent and take risks are rejected by society, and that elopement with a man is the best escape," while the boys get a "manly" hunting book that encourages risk-taking and adventure.

After parental uproar and a call to the ACLU, the public school changed its plans and told parents that sex segregation would be voluntary. Well, at least they pretended to change their plans. One-third of parents insisted on having their kids in coed classes -- but, without realizing it, they were actually choosing between regular single-sex classes and special education classes that had remained coed. What kind of a choice is that?

Now, the school's policy is in the courts, facing a lawsuit on Title IX grounds. Sex segregation has no place in public schools, especially when its message is that girls ought to sit down, shut up, and find a man to take care of them.

Glory! Glory Hallelujah!

Congressman Steve Cohen Threatens Our Democracy!

Ok, old Harriet is the last one to say that "all lawyers are bad". There are good lawyers, such as Kenneth Starr, Antonin Scalia, John Yoo and, of course, my namesake.

But there are bad ones too, and here is the blog of one of the worst. This liberal atheist elitist is openly backing the Federal Anti-Slapp bill proposed by Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN).

No, by "anti-slapp" we don't mean it isn't ok to slap your spouse. This is what he is talking about (warning: UnChristian language to follow):

Mr. Cohen introduced The Citizen Participation Act, a federal anti-slapp bill. The bill describes its purpose as follows:

To protect first amendment rights of petition and free speech by preventing States and the United States from allowing meritless lawsuits arising from acts in furtherance of those rights, commonly called ‘‘SLAPPs’’, and for other purposes.

It is about time.

SLAPP suits are all-too common and are a scourge on our legal landscape. Personally, they have been good for me, as I earn a significant income by defending these kinds of suits, but as much as I love money, I love free speech more (and I’m sure that I could sell that time elsewhere). A SLAPP suit is a “Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation.” In other words, it is a lawsuit that some hosebag files against a critic — not because he hopes to win anything, but because the mere filing of the suit is punishment enough for the critic. Lawsuits are expensive, and when a rich douchebag has plenty of money to spend on attorneys’s fees, he can afford to sue a couple of critics, thus scaring the bejesus out of anyone else who might criticize him.

Sigh...they just don't get it. So I will say this very slowly:

If The Good Lord wanted you to have free speech, He would have made you a rich Republican Christian!

Why is that so hard for the liberal elitists to understand?

Killer Whale Should be Stoned To Death!

Well, the Bible gives the appropriate remedy: Stone that whale to death!

The Rightly Concerned website, an arm of the religious, right-wing American Family Organization, has called for not only the execution of the orca, but death by stoning. Why? Because the Bible says so:

Says the ancient civil code of Israel, “When an ox gores a man or woman to death, the ox shall be stoned, and its flesh shall not be eaten, but the owner shall not be liable.” (Exodus 21:28)

So, your animal kills somebody, your moral responsibility is to put that animal to death.
