Nineteen-year-old Keshia Canter handed three burgers, fries and milkshakes to a car-load of Tuesday afternoon customers at the Hi-Lo Burger’s drive-though window. A lady sitting in the backseat leaned forward, between the two men in front, and handed her a leaflet: “Women & Girls” it said across the top.

“Even though nothing is showing, you’re being ungodly,” Canter recalled the woman telling her. “You make men want to be sinful.”

Canter was wearing boots pulled up over jeans, a pink zebra-print shirt with a black jacket zipped up over it. She has blond hair, dark eye make-up and a little red lip ring. “I just asked if she needed any salt, pepper or ketchup,” Canter said. “I mean, how do I respond to that?”

Minutes later, Canter’s mother, Pam Yates, who owns the restaurant, returned from the bank. Canter handed her “Women & Girls” and Yates started reading.

“You may have been given this leaflet because of the way you are dressed,” it begins. “Have you thought about standing before the true and living God to be judged?”

It continues with one essential theme: The sins of men are, in part, the fault of women, specifically women in tight-fitting clothing. Yates was annoyed. Then she got to a section on page two:

“Scripture tells us that when a man looks on a woman to lust for her he has already committed adultery in his heart. If you are dressed in a way that tempts a men to do this secret (or not so secret) sin, you are a participant in the sin,” the leaflet states. “By the way, some rape victims would not have been raped if they had dressed properly. So can we really say they were innocent victims?”

The hand-out is signed “anonymous.”

That's right! It is about time that a chorus of Conservative Christian women speak out about how these horrible women are just going around and tempting otherwise good men.

And please, just because over 90 percent of convicted rapists can't remember what the victim was wearing doesn't mean a thing, because we have the Bible on our side!

Christine Taylor, an Iowa mother of two who's pregnant with her third, was worried about how she'd raise her growing family; Taylor is unemployed and recently separated from her husband. After a difficult phone call with him last month, she became upset and accidentally fell down a flight of steps. Though paramedics said she was unharmed, she asked to go to the hospital to ensure the fetus was okay.

As Roxy MtJoy writes at Change.org:

That's when things got really bad and really crazy. Alone, distraught, and frightened, Taylor confided in the nurse treating her that she hadn't always been sure she'd wanted this baby, now that she was single and unemployed. She'd considered both adoption and abortion before ultimately deciding to keep the child. The nurse then summoned a doctor, who questioned her further about her thoughts on ending the pregnancy. Next thing Taylor knew, she was being arrested for attempted feticide. Apparently the nurse and doctor thought that Taylor threw herself down the stairs on purpose.

Things went from bad to worse. Taylor was held in jail for two days. The district attorney chose not to prosecute her case because feticide, according to Iowa law, applies only to attempts to terminate a pregnancy after the second trimester; hospital staff thought Taylor was in her third trimester although she wasn't that far along.

MtJoy adds:

Of all the horrible, shocking elements to this case, perhaps one of the worst is the breach of confidentiality on the part of the hospital staff. Christine Taylor came to them emotionally vulnerable in order to seek help for her unborn child. She thought she was in a safe place talking to professionals in whom she could confide. Oops, her bad. As Robert Rigg, professor at the Drake University Law School,said, "How in the heck did the police get a statement made by a patient to a medical person during the course of treatment?"

This awful tale illustrates a growing trend in the U.S. which puts the fate of pregnant women in the hands of those who seem more interested in the fetus than in the health and well-being of the pregnant woman or her family.

What about Taylor's other two children? What were they going through while Mommy was held in jail? What about Taylor's ability to find work now that she's been through this ordeal? And what were authorities thinking when they subjected a woman in her second semester to incarceration?

What ever happened to doctor-patient confidentiality? How can a woman saying she once considered abortion lead to her arrest? What message is this sending other pregnant women in Iowa and beyond?

HOW CAN THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY DO THAT?!

That hussy almost KILLED her own baby!

And I sure enough don’t want to hear no LIBtard whining about how this here girl has suffered enough; or how it was bad enough she had to worry about losing a child, but she also had to worry about jail time!

Any woman what almost loses a pregnancy SHOULD go to jail!

Oh sure, you got some LIEberals spouting off a mess of hooey that the Bible don’t consider a fetus a person: how it actually considers a fetus as nothing more than property of its father; or how there ain’t much in the way of punishment of them responsible for ending a pregnancy.

Listen up, LIBturds: you can’t take the word of the Bible as literal! It’s got to be interpreted by a man of God, while in the spirit!

Except for some other parts…then it IS to be taken literal.

The Bible is the LITERAL word of God, except when it’s NOT! Then it’s got to be interpreted! But only the parts that AIN’T literal!

So with that in mind, I can only hope them good Christians in Utah take the next logical step, and pass a law setting up a new agency what examines reported instances of miscarriages, whether intentional or natural.

The way I see it, this agency can best ensure that women ain’t murdering their unborn babies is by the following:

1. This agency (let’s just call it M.P. for Morality Police) would be given a large budget (maybe two-billion dollars to start) to fund the building of a series of massive collection warehouses, as well as the hiring of hundreds of thousands of lab techs.
2. Once firmly established, the M.P. would send notices to all women in the state informing them of their nearest M.V.O. (Menstrual Verification Office).
3. At the end of each 28-day cycle, all women of child-bearing age MUST return their M.C.U. (Menstrual Collection Unit*) to the nearest M.V.O.
4. Lab technicians would then sort through the M.C.U. to search for any fertilized eggs.
5. If no fertilized eggs are uncovered, the woman would receive her C.M.B. (Clean Menses Badge) for that month.
6. If a fertilized egg is uncovered, an autopsy is ordered and the woman is immediately arrested and brought before a judge for sentencing; wherein a judge determines whether the woman shall be charged with manslaughter or murder.

Nothing simpler!

TLDR: if’n you are a REAL Republican and believe life begins at conception, then ANY termination of pregnancy is SUSPICIOUS, including miscarriage. As the state has an undeniable interest in preserving the life of a PERSON (a fetus is a PERSON), it must determine the cause of ANY miscarriage, even if’n said PERSON is only a two-day old zygote (i.e. PERSON). Any woman found whose “risky behavior” results in a miscarriage MUST be charged with MANSLAUGHTER (at the very least) or MURDER!

Again, if’n you believe life begins at conception, no other course of action is ethical!

The Solution to Failing Schools: a God-Fearing Police State

The other day, I come across something what for the first time EVER done give me pause to reconsider my stance of the EVILS of PUBLIC EDUCATION (i.e. INDOCTRINATION!).

Now don’t you for one minute think I believe we ought be sending children to be INDOCTRINATED by the ISLAMOFASCIST HOMOSEXUAL COMMUNISTS (i.e. TEACHERS) in PUBLIC SCHOOLS today…but that might change soon.

I had two people email me a link to this story, which may be the most outrageous invasion of privacy I have ever heard of. Get this:

According to the filings in Blake J Robbins v Lower Merion School District (PA) et al, the laptops issued to high-school students in the well-heeled Philly suburb have webcams that can be covertly activated by the schools' administrators, who have used this facility to spy on students and even their families. The issue came to light when the Robbins's child was disciplined for "improper behavior in his home" and the Vice Principal used a photo taken by the webcam as evidence.

You can read the full complaint here (PDF). The allegations are mind blowing. The parental plaintiffs say that the assistant principal at the school informed them that their son was engaging in inappropriate behavior and they produced a picture taken by the webcam of the computer and informed them that the school could turn on the webcams remotely any time they wanted.

This is obviously a violation of several state and federal laws as well as, most importantly, the 4th amendment. This is truly 1984 territory here, folks. Remember the television sets that allowed the government to view people in their homes? That's precisely what this allows them to do. Every single person involved in this process, from the decision to program the computers to allow such remote viewing to the people who actually carried it out, should not only be fired they should be in prison.

Now that all sure enough sounds SCARY! And in the hands of a government headed by “President” Barack HUSSEIN Obama, it IS scary.

Cause you can’t trust LIBERALS with that sort of power! Not only ain’t they got the INTELLECTUAL capacity to use it prudently (if Libs wasn’t so DUMB, they’d be Republicans! ), but they also ain’t got the moral fortitude NOT to abuse it!

But that ain’t the case with us REAL Americans! REAL Americans like George W. Bush (the best president EVER) and Dick Chaney know how to wield such power with RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Which brings me to my optimism regarding this here development.

Once us Republicans retake the Presidency and both Houses of Congress in 2012 (crossing my fingers for a Dick Cheney/Sarah Palin run!), we can very quickly take advantage of this!

Just imagine how much easier counter-terrorism would be if’n the NSA was able to access ANY webcam ANYWHERE in the United States without all that nonsense about Constitutional “rights”!

Just imagine how much simpler it would be for the Morality Police (to be set up by SecState Mitt Romney) to ensure nothing sinful was going on behind closed doors, if’n all they had to do was switch on a computer!

If you ain’t got nothing to hide, then you ain’t got to worry!

Some More Hope From Blue States

Ok, I admit it: I was deeply depressed when this country elected Barack HUSSEIN Obama to be the President of These United States and was even more depressed when previously Republican states like Virginia and Indiana voted for him.

Seriously, just look at what we have in office!



Imagine that! We have a president that embraces that evil S C I E N C E!!!!! Ah, for the days when we had a president who neither understood nor embraced any of it....

But I digress....

Nevertheless, I find reason to hope. For example, in California, we have Godly parents who take the Bible literally:

"Spare the rod and spoil the child" is a biblical saying that most people in America know and that Bible-literalists Kevin and Elizabeth Schatz have apparently taken a little too literally. The Paradise, CA couple have been charged with the beating death last Friday (Feb. 5) of their 7-year old adopted daughter, Lydia and serious injuries to her 11-year old sister, Zariah. The latter child was brought to Sacramento Children's Hospital in critical condition from kidney failure and other injuries. The Schatz's had 6 biological children as well as three adopted from an orphanage in Liberia: Lydia, her sister and another 3-year old girl. They also face a charge of misdeameanor cruelty for lesser injuries to their 10-year old son. The surviving children are now in protective custody.

The Oroville Mercury Register reports that neighbors said the Schatzes are a deeply religious and private couple who home-schooled their children and seemed to "regiment" their behavior.

Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey said that statements by the parents confirm that they were followers of a fundamentalist religious philosophy that espouses corporal punishment to "train" children to be more obedient to their parents and God. Police found a 15" length of rubber tubing in the Schatz's home which the children say was used to discipline them; sometimes for "hours" at a time. According to the district attorney, Lydia and Zariah sustained deep bruising and multiple "whip-like" marks on their back, buttocks and legs. This, Ramsey said, is believed to have resulted in significant muscle tissue breakdown that impaired their kidneys and possibly other vital organs. An autopsy is being conducted on the body of the 7-year old Lydia.

That will teach them! What a glorious, Godly example of Proper Christian Parenting!

Joshua Tabor admitted to police that he used a CIA torture technique on his 4-year-old daughter because he was angry she couldn’t recite the alphabet. (h/t The Political Carnival)

As his daughter ‘squirmed’ to get away, Tabor said he submerged her face three or four times until the water was lapping around her forehead and jawline.

Tabor, 27, who had won custody of his daughter only four weeks earlier, admitted choosing the punishment because the girl was terrified of water.

Pittsburgh Police: Protect Citizens from Viola Players!

Now Old Harriet is scratching her head. Why would an evil-liberal blog like Daily Kos carry an article praising a Godly Police Force?

We read:

On January 12, 2010, Jordan Miles a 5′7″, 150 pound young man left his mom’s house (in a new birthday jacket) at approximately 11 pm to walk to his grandma’s house, where he usually stays the night. He was minding his own business with his dangerous bottle of MOUNTAIN DEW tucked in his jacket when he notice a white sedan with 3 men in it.

Thinking nothing much about it, he became alarmed when they all jumped out of the car yelling: "Where’s the money? Where’s the gun? Where’s the drugs?"

Because the officers were in plain clothes, under cover and did not identify themselves, Mr. Miles feared he was about to be mugged by hoodlums. Well he was attacked, only those hoods who attacked him were 3 of the Pittsburgh police. Fearing for himself, he started to run, slipped on the ice and when the cops caught up with him.

That's right! Well, what might have tipped off the police that this viola player was up to no good? After all, he is bound to go right up to a Godly Tax Paying Citizen, take out his viola and start playing! We can't have that, can we? Oh yes, he has questionable hair:




So what would Jesus do? Jesus would beat the be-jeebers out of him, that is what he'd do! If you let ONE viola player go walking around, why you might get...what...a couple of them walking around?

Mr. Miles, 18 is an honor student at CAPA (Creative and Performing Arts) high school in Pittsburgh, PA, where he plays viola (yesterday I said it was the violin, in reports that I had read…. but his mom says it’s the viola and being a mom myself, I’ll believe her)….. He plays for the jazz band and the orchestra. It is reported that several months ago he played for first lady Michelle Obama and spouses of delegates to the group of 20 economic summit when they visited the CAPA high school.
