There ain’t NOTHING written in the Bible bout government stepping in to hand out food to “poor” people!
Now if’n some individual wants to step in and enable the laziness of these folks, well that’s their prerogative, however wrong-headed it may be!
But just remember what Jesus said: “Give a man a fish…” blah, blah, blah. Even though I don’t agree with what Jesus says (why should I teach anyone anything? As a God-fearing Neo Conservative, I know that it’s best if’n folks pull themselves up by their bootstraps, not depend on me to “teach” them!), I reckon we still got to obey what He says, even if it don’t mention that in the GOOD parts of the Bible (Old Testament).
Besides her compassionate stance on how hunger can motivate children and lazy hippies to work minimum wage jobs (why not lower the age we send children to work? Ain’t nothing build character for a 12-year-old better than 15-hour shifts!), Ms. Davis brings up an interesting point: it’s better for starving children to sit around a table bereft of food than to send them to school where they’ll get “nourishment” by suckling at the teat of government!

It sure don’t come as no surprise to us folks what keep an eye on the news, but it’s still a dadblame shame what’s going on in South Carolina with Governor Sanford.
Y’all might recollect Sister Harriet pointing out the INSIDIOUS plot “President” Barack Hussein Obama hatched just to snare that poor feller {Here}, but it ain’t all bad.

Anyhow, so what if’n he went and fell in love with a woman from Argentina? Who of us can say that ain’t NEVER happened to them?
